Three Women Walked Into Court—and the Old Custodian Finally Had a Voice

truly closed again.

When Gideon bowed his head to say grace, his voice shook.

Not from fear this time.

From gratitude.

And when he looked up, three women who had once arrived in his life hungry, frightened, and forgotten were looking back at him with the same fierce certainty that had carried them into court.

He had given them shelter when the world mislaid them.

Years later, they had returned the favor.

Safe.
